Though he didn't expect it, ask for it, or had ever heard of such a thing, it probably "happened" to him because of two personal qualities. One, Wayne has been practicing traditional meditation and deep introspection for many years. The Subtle Level of Consciousness (where the "Light" comes from) was a natural part of his spiritual evolution. Two, Wayne has a very strong desire to bring the benefits of these often difficult and complex practices to today's spiritual seeker - which, though it is not about God Wells, is why he wrote Fading Toward Enlightenment (read the first chapter here). The Universe provided a very powerful and abrupt union of these two qualities: Direct access to the Subtle Level of Consciousness. It could be said that God Wells act as a stepping stone toward enlightenment because they give the recipient a tool to (and a constant reminder of) the Divine within us all.

No. During the Opening you will feel warmth and a tightness at the location where the God Well opens. For a few days it may feel like there is a small bruise there, but it is more of a tight feeling than actual pain.

Here's a very simplistic description of a very complex subject. Think of yourself as a series of layers. From inner to outer: Formlessness (Godhead or Causal Layer), Radiant Light/Love/Compassion (Subtle Layer), Form (your body), Ego (your thoughts and conditioning). Every physical thing on the planet has the first three layers. In fact, there is only ONE Causal Layer and ONE Subtle Layer shared among every tree, rock, bird or person. Only people and some more evolved animals have an Ego Layer which is bound tightly to the Form Layer (the body). A God Well brings Light/Love/Compassion from the Subtle Layer directly to the surface.

Use it or lose it. As long as you remain conscious of your God Well, use it, meditate with it, project out Light, Love, and Compassion, it should stay open until you pass away. Should you not use it, the ego shell will gradually close back over it.

It will greatly enhance any gifts you already have since the energy is untainted by the ego. It may awaken or reveal some gifts you had but didn't know about. A God Well gives you enhanced use of all your gifts, even ones you may not have been aware of before.

If you are already gifted in those fields (or learn them), it will enhance your skills greatly.

The most effective Openings are the Private Opening Sessions. Phone and Event Openings are about equal to each other in their effectiveness. Phone Openings give the recipient one-on-one time with Wayne, but no physical contact. Event Openings give the recipient physical contact with Wayne, but no time to discuss personal issues or questions in detail.

In the upper right torso.

One, because the original Alpha God Well spontaneously opened on Wayne's upper torso (though on the left). Two, you don't want to open a hole through any Chakra. Three, God Wells give you access to the Transpersonal Level of Consciousness (the Subtle Level) which is "deeper" than any of the personal Chakras. While there are theories that there is a Transpersonal Chakra which resides about 4-6 inches above the Crown Chakra - and ironically this is where the Light Energy formed when Wayne experienced the original God Well - blasting a hole in mid-air probably wouldn't be very effective.

Simply by acting as a constant reminder that there is a very real, and now very accessible, aspect to your nature that far exceeds the tiny, selfish, and needy ego.

The Shadow is a Jungian psychological term for the repressed unconscious. A surprising quirk to having a hole opened in your ego is that some of this unconscious material may come to light. Though this can be emotionally painful, it will always be beneficial, and will ultimately help you find peace with your past.

The God Well becomes a part of you, you take it with you wherever you go. As you practice using it in everyday situations, you start to realize that life is so much better when viewed from the "clear eyes" of the God Well than from the "needy eyes" of the ego. The more you use your God Well, the more your consciousness will reside there, and the less it will cling to the ego and its very limited perspective.

No. A Master Well is required to open God Wells.

The God Well is purely Yin in nature (radiant, receptive). It is about the size of a grape and resides on the upper right torso. Master Wells contain much more Yang energy (pro-active, energetic). Master Wells reside on the upper left torso and eventually open to about the size of an orange.

The Alpha God Well formed spontaneously in Wayne Wirs' ego shell. The Alpha Well is "deeper" than God Wells (which go down to the Subtle/Light/Spirit level of Consciousness) or Master Wells (which go down to the Causal/Formless/ Godhead level of Consciousness). It is able to open both God Wells and Master Wells.

Not at this time. Though if there is enough demand for God Wells, Wayne has indicated that he may have to open some Master Wells on qualified people.
